Miraplacid Text Driver SDK Terminal Server Edition

With Miraplacid Publisher 2024 SDK Terminal Server Edition you can create your own software application to convert documents to images or embed this functionality into your software solution.

Important! This is Terminal Server Edition SDK. Unless your software product works on terminal server, please use regular Miraplacid Publisher SDK. Unless you are developing your own software for Terminal Server, please look at Miraplacid Publisher Terminal Server Edition. It should be sufficient for most software integration projects.

The main part of SDK is interactive Wizard. It generates dll with software installer. When you add this dll to your application and call installation function, it installs a virtual printer driver on your Terminal Server. When you print to this "printer", it converts pages to images and saves them to disk, prints to a real printer or uploads to a server.

Miraplacid Publisher SDK supports following output formats: PDF, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, TGA, GIF. It will scale and crop images for you, adjust colors and gamma and do some other image processing.

Miraplacid Publisher SDK Terminal Server Edition available for FREE download. It does not require registration code, but the driver it generates does.

You will have to buy a license if you decide to use the driver in your solution. In a meantime, you are welcome to contact us, and we will provide you with temporal development registration code for software testing.

When you purchase unlimited license for the Miraplacid Publisher SDK Terminal Server Edition, we will provide you with Unlimited version of the SDK. It generates a driver, that does not require registration.

For Miraplacid Publisher SDK Terminal Server Edition, we currently sell only unlimited licenses. However, if you have a product you install on terminal servers with very few users, we can build a tailored version of our SDK for you.

 There are two ways to create PDF file from a document - text-based and image-based. The difference is in text representation. You can save text and font settings or you can convert text to a raster image and save the Image. Image-based PDF is usually produce slightly larger file, but it is guaranteed to look identically on every computer. Miraplacid Publisher and Miraplacid Screen Capture work with snapshot image copies of documents rather than with text documents itself. That is why Miraplacid products produce image-based PDF files rather than text-based. If you have concerns about PDF file size, please use appropriate software from Adobe or third party vendors. We recommend you to choose software able to convert your document format directly to text-based PDF file for better results.
PDF files generated by Miraplacid Publisher are compatible with any version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
